Events du Jour, based in metropolitan Atlanta, is a professional event planning company designed to enable their clients eliminate the hassle and stress of planning their own events.

Kim Westry, Owner and creative mastermind behind Events du Jour, always had a knack for creativity and an eye for detail. "I've been planning events ever since I can remember", she says. "It just came naturally and second nature to me."

"I remember when I was 15 years old, I planned my own birthday party including making my own invitations, coordinating the "vendors" and designing the venue. It was awesome and ever since then, people sought me out to plan their parties or events, including weddings, bridal and baby showers."

With a Certificate of Event Planning and Coordination, she also has vast experience in marketing and sales, as well as corporate and social event planning. She has a keen eye for adding that "signature touch" to every event. In addition, Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is a native of Louisiana.

Kim's talented ability has afforded her the opportunity to plan and execute numerous events for major Fortune 500 companies such as Sprint, Scientific-Atlanta, Unisys Corporation and IBM; (including the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, the 2001 82nd PGA Golf Tournament featuring Tiger Woods), as well as countless social gatherings.

Kim's goal is to take the burden away from her client. She will save you time, money and long hours of planning by utilizing her creativity, knowledge, expertise and negotiation skills to allow you to sit back, relax and enjoy your "event of the day"!
